Vietnamnet - Thai Nguyen provincial leaders were requested to grant permission for the Investor to carry out toll collection in NH3.
On 24 December 2019, MOT issued an official document requesting Thai Nguyen People’s Committee to grant permission for the Investor to activate the toll station at Km77+922.5 in NH3 and raise their voice before 10 January 2020 in case of possible problem. However, they have remained silent ever since.

The Investor has completed necessary procedures for toll collection at this station. They are working with Thai Nguyen provincial Department of Transport, local authorities and related units to discriminate the toll rate reduction to villages and communes.
Up to 02 December 2019, as many as 3,994 of all 7,782 vehicles will be given cards for toll rate reduction, following the approved financial plan (reaching 51.32%). The cards are in use during the toll collection period.
The project of Thai Nguyen - Cho Moi road construction and NH3 improvement at station Km75 - Km100 was invested 2,713 billion dong by Joint venture of Cienco4, Tuan Loc and Truong Loc in BOT mode. The road was completed and opened in March 2017 and officially operated in May 2017.
As contracted, the financial plan includes two toll stations located along the road at Km72+930 and Km77+922.5. One was activated one January 2018 and one is pending.
